Ian Easton I used to help Dougie out when he was a DJ at the Rock on Studfall Avenue, he had a huge following and I used to help doing a bit of DJ'ing and driving his van from time to time. Dougie always used to drop people off after the disco; they used to pile in the back of the van amongst the equipment. This particular night I was not drinking so drove the van and dropped people off near their homes. The last but one stop was down the village, Dougie got out of the van to let him out. I drove off thinking Dougie was in the back and was talking to him on the way home, then realised he was not responding to me, I thought he fell asleep. When I got back to his parent's home in Barnsley Square I opened the back of the van to let him out. He was not there. Quickly I drove back to the village, and there he was, as soon as he seen me he promptly sat in the middle of the road looking like a Buddha monk. Saying in a Kermet the frog voice "Will you get out of here", I replied by saying "No you get out of here "
